Learn to use AutoCAD to its full ability
Do you know how to create great 2D models using AutoCAD but have never been taught how to create in 3D?
Whether you’re brand new to AutoCAD 3D, or have played around with it but need more guidance, this course will help you feel confident and comfortable using the industry-standard CAD application.
Level Up Your AutoCAD Skills
Learn the skills that are in demand in the industry today. Many of our students have gone on to gain employment as AutoCAD Technicians. Engineering and design graduates have also used the skills gained to make them more employable in their chosen industries.

"Certainly a great complementary course after the Beginners' one, totally recommend it. The instructor has a thorough, enjoyable, and concise way to deliver and illustrate all the content; it was a nice journey, I learned a lot."
Create 3D models from 2D designs, set up the scene, add materials, lights and cameras.
After learning the basics of AutoCAD many people want to move on to more advanced concepts. 3D is becoming more popular as it makes it much easier to visualize the end result of a project. In moving into 3D however, there is much more to learn than just the 3D modeling aspect. In order to present your finished image, you need to know about camera placement, lighting the scene, and applying realistic-looking materials.
This course was designed for the AutoCAD user with experience in 2D that would like to learn to use the 3D commands. The course includes practice files and a realistic project to allow you to put into practice the skills as you learn them. Throughout this AutoCAD course, you’ll be creating your own real-world realistic project that is indicative of the kind you might be asked to create in the workplace. You will learn how to produce a professional model to industry standards and hopefully inspire you to do even more!
In this course, we cover advanced 2D drawing methods before moving on to 3D modeling and showing how to model a range of objects. We then use these methods to convert a 2D drawing into a 3D model that we can work with, in the following chapters.
Create photorealistic images to show off your creations or walk through them in 3D.
Imagine not only being able to show your clients or employer a photorealistic image but being able to virtually walk through that model and see how the finished project would really look.
Perhaps you're an Architect that wants to show how a building will flow between rooms.
Maybe you are an Interior Designer who wants to show color schemes or layouts virtually so your client can see how different combinations will look.
Being able to model in 3D and then walk around the virtual model will make you stand out from the crowd when it comes to winning work or gaining employment.
Become a Professional AutoCAD Technician
With the skills learned in this course, you’ll have a highly-desired skill that can help you get jobs and make money as an AutoCAD Drafter.
AutoCAD is an industry standard and the most widely used application when it comes to CAD software, so it’s important for you to learn if you want to be a professional designer.
Enhance your degree skills and become more employable
University courses may only teach the basics of AutoCAD or the software may be taught by people who have long been out of the industry and still using old fashioned methods.
Perhaps you are preparing to go to college or university and would like to learn a skill that will help you throughout your studies and give you a head start in your design course.
Add a valuable extra skill to your existing skillset
Perhaps you are already working in construction or design and would like to be able to produce your own design drawings to communicate with your clients.
The ability to create your own drawings for client approval or planning applications is an important skill for those offering design and construction services. Whether you are a Contractor, Interior Designer, or Engineer it's important to be able to produce accurate and professional technical drawings that can easily be shared with others in the industry.
"This instructor has shown me more in 10 hours than I have learned in years on my own! Great course!"
Why learn AutoCAD from us?
With over 20 years of experience in a variety of design & CAD Management roles, Mike Freeman knows AutoCAD inside out.
Many instructors teach outdated methods which have no place in modern real-world use. The skills you will learn here will allow you to not only create professional drawings but allow you to enter the workplace with relevant CAD knowledge that will show any future client or employer that you were taught well.
